About the workshop

The International Control Theory Workshop – Uruguay 2025, or FernandoFest, is organized by the Grupo MATE of the School of Engineering of Universidad ORT Uruguay. Its purpose is to celebrate Fernando Paganini’s 60+ birthday by inviting friends and colleagues from the Control community. We invited leading researchers in the field to share their most recent work about control theory and applications. Additionally, we will gather to honor Fernando’s outstanding contributions to Control Theory and, of course, share anecdotes about working with him.
